The Prizes
State finalists will have the opportunity to:
- Present to a judging panel and an audience of high profile
employers.
- Network with top industry professionals at a special awards
event in October 2012.
- Win prizes including an all expenses paid trip to Sydney, a
presentation skills workshop and corporate attire styling session
with OXFORD.
The 1st Year Student Challenge winner(s) will receive all of the
above as well as a letter of recognition from the judging panel,
media publicity and an Apple© iPad®.
The Overall Student Challenge winner(s) will receive all of the
above as well as a letter of recognition from the judging panel,
media publicity, an Apple© iPad® and the opportunity to job shadow
Mark Shanahan who is the CFO for Macquarie Group's Asian
operations.
Mark is based in Macquarie's Singapore office and regularly
travels between various offices across the region. He has been with
Macquarie for nearly 10 years and holds both Australian and South
African Chartered Accountant qualifications. The successful
students will have the opportunity to accompany Mark to meetings
with some of Macquarie's senior business leaders as well as other
Chartered Accountants in the region.
